If Portugal taxed you 70% would you continue to work when you pay 70% of what you make to the government? Answer = NO….

Thus the government looses tax revenues and people move somewhere else…..

Check out what is happining in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, France and all the other counntries in Europe. They have promised so much to all the workers: (Free health care, free retirement, free vacations, free housing, etc., etc., .)

These benefits can not be sustained becuse the money is not there to pay for them and the European social welfare model is killing itself. The EU is bankrupt because all its members spend to much on (Free health care, free retirement, free vacations, free housing, etc., etc., .) All this is going to collapse and you will have no free thins anymore. If the US doesn’t change, we will follow the EU to this disaster…………

Chaka Fattah is a progressive liberal who thinks the government is not spending enough. His philosophy os the same an Obama’s Obama has spent us into the poor house in 2.5 years. The budget before Obama of $8 trillion is now $15 billion. The root that has to be cut out is that of people like Fattah and Obama who want to spend more than we take in and those wh do not adhere to the constitution. Fattah and Obama are Marxists who need to go…………………….far away….

Of the top 20 countries in the world, ranked by GDP, only 5 have a lower % of income (taxes) to GDP (US income as % of GDP is 26.9%). These countries are China, India, Mexico, Indonesia and Singapore. (Source = Heritage Foundation & Wall Street Journal)

Currently, as I understand, we are paying tax rates approximately 20% lower than we’ve historically paid. This metric, assuming it is correct, suggests that we are trending down, not up, in the amount of taxes that we pay.

What makes you think that we are heading in a progressive socialist direction?? Should we be moving even further in the direction of developing countries like China, India, Mexico & Indonesia???

I don’t get the logic here…
