Who Were Cloward & Piven? What is Cloward – Piven?
Richard Cloward and Francis Piven were political science professors at Columbia University in the 1960’s. Saul Alinsky, the radical “organizer” and avowed Marxist, Communist / socialist, was their mentor and inspiration.
The Watts riots in Los Angeles , which went on for 7 days was the inspiration for them to develop a strategy for forcing social and political change through an orchestrated crisis. The purpose of their 1966 program for social change was to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.
Early Cloward – Piven supporters now support left wing unions like SEIU and elements of George Soros’s , Shadow Party.

Do you know if the “army” that Obama wanted that would be “just as big and just as well armed”, ever really materialized and if they are still doing whatever Obama wanted them to do even after he went out of office? I heard of a group but I forget the name. I would love to hear of any information you can find on them, who is running them, what they are doing, etc. Thank you. I very much enjoyed this web site mostly because it helps me to know I am not crazy, because I figured this was all going on. Unfortunately it looks worse than I even feared it would be. Is there information on what they are all doing now that President Trump is in office?
