Alan Grayson, Freshman Democrat from Florida, questions Elizabeth Coleman, Inspector General of the Federal Reserve. He asks if the Fed has investigated where $1 trillion went in the last 8 months. “Who was the recipient of these funds”? Ms. Coleman did not know where this money went and said there is no planned investigsation to find out.
In another recent post dated September 19, 2009, in the “Economics” Category; The Fed states that the public has no right to know where this money was spent and has gone to court to resist a Freedom of Information request from Bloomberg.
