AG Becerra got the major property tax increase on the ballot. Your property tax increases are on the launch pad! California politicians are trying to repeal Prop 13 by slipping it under the radar. AG Becerra plans to raises tax revenue by eliminating Prop 13!!
BUT, they know it will be unpopular if it is presented as “Repeal Prop 13”, so it has been relabeled as “Education and Local Government Funding”.
It is already on the 2020 ballot, and like the Gas Tax, will be worded in a way that misleads voters!
VOTE NO on Education and Local Government Funding.
