“Climategate”, is a term used to describe the actions of some of the world’s leading climate scientists working very closely together to:
- block freedom of information requests,
- plot to shut up other scientists who ask questions about their work,
- manipulate the peer-review process,
- and obscure, destroy or massage inconvenient temperature data
These facts that were exposed by last months disclosure of thousands of emails from the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) located in Norwich, England.
“Hard Scientists” (physics, chemistry, biology, electrical engineering, nuclear engineering, etc.) for hundreds of years have proven their theories by testing, proving and testing and proving. Some new scientists, academics “professors in the humanities” have devised new theory’s of “Post Modernism” – a self consciously “un-provable” theory on climate change and global warming. The academic center for the new “global warming” scientists is the East Anglian University’s Climate Research Unit.
The worlds public has been told that the science of “global warming” has been affirmed by the scientific community. With the “hard” scientists sitting on the side lines, the public face of science has become the “settled” science of supposed irrefutable evidence of climate change and global warming.
The real facts show facts show global cooling for the last 11 years. When the “hard” scientists asked the new “climatologists” questions on how their theories were reached, they were blocked at every effort. See numbers 1, 2, 3, & 4 above.
The bottom line is that the scientists advocating global warming have replaced the scientific theory’s of test, verify, prove and implement with the theory of “precautionary principle”, as defined by one official version: “When an activity raises threats of harm to the environment or human health, precautionary measures should be taken even if some cause and effect relationships are not fully established scientifically.” Those sold on global warming say this is enough information to impose massive regulations on how everyone in the world uses carbon. “Hard” scientists argue that this methodology does not use traditional scientific standards to research evidence.
As Daniel Henninger puts it in his Wall Street Journal article below: The global warming scientists are ok with “close enough is good enough; one hopes civil engineers never build bridges under this theory.”
Henninger points out that the “global warming” scientists need to realize that they have been used by politicians and if they can continue to be manipulated, the credibility of all scientists will be at risk permanently. The global warming scientist cover up has now been exposed. It is now up to the “hard” scientists to stand up and be heard to preserve the credibility of all scientists. The outcome of this “global warming” charade will affect hundreds of millions of people around the world, their jobs, their life and trillions of their dollars. (mostly US citizens, jobs & dollars)
